marciesmithposts: Your 180 body is exactly me. Please tell me how you lost the weight. Did you workout, lift weights, run, walk,... What kind of diet did you eat? You look so great and I want to look like that too.

Well thank you!! I’m still working on it :)

When I first started losing the weight, I was living on a college campus so I would go to the gym on campus and use the elliptical (I wasn’t able to run very efficiently yet) and I would use videos on youtube for strength training such as ab and arm videos. When I moved home for the summer I started running outside and I was amazed to see the difference. I was able to cut my mile down from about 20 minutes (stopping and walking a lot) to about 10 minutes running straight!

As far as eating, since I had meals plans it was very hard. I tried to eat as healthy as I could, but since there weren’t many options I mainly worked on my portion control. I would buy a chicken sandwich instead of a burger, and would take off 1 piece of the bun, I stopped drinking soda and had one small sweet every couple of days. I got really good at buying m&ms, and then splitting them into ziplocks so I could only eat a designated amount, ect.

I hope this helped and wasn’t too rambly. Really, you just need to find what is going to work for you, because if you aren’t happy with it and enjoying it then it won’t be as effective! Don’t torture yourself :)

Goodluck and if you need anything else let me know!

Since there are roughly 3 weeks left in the semester, I thought I would start a daily goal thing from here until the the end of finals (I’ll continue over the summer/if i like it/depends on how my goals change)

In the morning or early afternoon I’ll post my goals for the day like so:

Morning workout.

2 liters of water. (Made it to 1, and a couple glasses of tea.)

100 squats.

50 reps with hand weights.

Run a mile.

Salt water flush.

and at the end of the day, I’ll check/cross off what I accomplished! I’m hoping this will keep me more accountable. As you all know,  I’ve been slacking.

Keep it up! Bikini season is right around the corner!
